CCAMTAC and JVI seminar participants received certificates


On June 3–7, 2024, a training seminar in the field of macroeconomic analysis, financial programming, and policy for specialists from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the National Bank of Tajikistan was held at the National Bank of Tajikistan in cooperation with the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Center (CCAMTAC) and the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI).

The topic of the seminar is considered timely and important for the ministries and agencies of the Republic of Tajikistan. The seminar provided an opportunity for participants to learn about the implementation of financial programming tools in the process of analyzing the current state of the economy, forecasting its development, and identifying economic policy measures.

The seminar was conducted by lecturers Mr. Nurdaulet Abilov, Ms. Alia Kistauboeva (CCAMTAC economic analyst), and Ms. Tatiana Evdokimova (JVI senior economist) at a high professional level.

Mr. Norbert Funke, Director of the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Center, praised the process of organizing and holding this seminar and expressed his gratitude to the management of the National Bank of Tajikistan.

After the seminar, Mr. Ikromi S.S., Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, and Mr. Norbert Funke, Director of the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Centre, handed certificates to the attendees.

It should be noted that the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Center is a joint project of the International Monetary Fund, organized by nine member countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan), as well as other development partners.
