On October 14, 2026, as part of the Entrepreneurs' Forum "Tojikiston, ba pesh!" ("Tajikistan, ahead!"), the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, met with the country’s entrepreneurs and investors
The Head of State congratulated the entrepreneurs on Entrepreneurs' Day and highly commended their contributions to the development of domestic production, the creation of new jobs, and the strengthening of the national economy. The Forum also featured an awards ceremony for the winners of the national "Entrepreneur of the Year 2026" competition. This competition aims to encourage successful entrepreneurial initiatives, enhance the competitiveness of domestic enterprises, and recognize the private sector's contribution to the country's socio-economic development.
Winners across various sectors—including banking, agriculture, industry, transport, energy, construction, digitalization, information and communication technologies, tourism, trade, and services were honored for their significant achievements and substantial contributions to the development of entrepreneurship and the national economy. In the "Banking" category, first place went to OJSC "Orienbank," second place to OJSC "Bank Eskhata," and third place to SUE "Sanoatsodirotbank." In the "Digitalization" category, first place was awarded to OJSC "Alif Bank."
It should be noted that on September 10, 2026, at the "Euromoney Awards for Excellence" ceremony for the Asia-Pacific region, held in Singapore, OJSC "Orienbank" became the first bank in the country to be named "Best Bank for Corporate Clients in Tajikistan in 2026."
These achievements attest to the development of the country’s banking system, the expansion of the range of financial services, and the contribution made by credit and financial institutions toward supporting entrepreneurship and strengthening Tajikistan’s economic potential.
