National Bank of Tajikistan warns of the spread of a new type of fraud

Advertisements offering assistance in obtaining preferential loans are being distributed on social media and the messaging apps. In order to convince citizens, scammers are using various fake accounts and false reviews in chatbots.

The National Bank of Tajikistan warns citizens not to trust such messages and never to transfer money to unknown individuals. When carrying out financial transactions, it is recommended to rely only on information from official sources.

We also remind you that the National Bank of Tajikistan acts strictly as a regulatory institution. The National Bank:

• does not provide banking services to individuals;
• does not issue loans to the public;
• does not accept requests for money transfers;
• does not send official documents or employment certificates via instant messengers

If you notice that you have become a victim of fraud, immediately block your bank card and contact law enforcement authorities.
