By decision of the Board of National Bank of Tajikistan, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the National Bank of Tajikistan”, in order to provide the economy with currency notes, from October 30, 2025, commemorative banknotes with a nominal value of TJS 100 were put into circulation on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the national currency - somoni.
The commemorative banknote is not only a symbol of historical memory, but also a sign of the sustainable development of the country's monetary system and national economy. Its design reflects the cultural, historical and architectural elements of our country, which testify to the ancient civilization and craftsmanship and creativity of the Tajik people.
The commemorative banknotes will circulate along with other banknotes of the National Bank of Tajikistan with a nominal value of TJS 100 that are in circulation.
