By the Resolution No.118 of Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan dated September 25, 2025, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the National Bank of Tajikistan», in order to provide the economy with currency, coins somoni in denominations of 1, 3, and 5 somoni and diram coins in denominations of 20 and 50 dirams of the 2025 issue will be introduced into circulation starting September 26 of this year.
It is worth noting that the somoni and diram coins of the 2025 issue will be in circulation alongside other coins of the National Bank of Tajikistan currently in circulation.
