On May 12, the ceremony on summarizing the results of competition for the award "The Best Financial Credit Institution for Serving Women Entrepreneurs" was held with the participation of the leadership of the National Bank of Tajikistan, the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the country's financial credit institutions, the Association of Banks of Tajikistan, the Association of Microfinance Institutions of Tajikistan, representatives of the AFI member states, development partners and the media.
Third year competition held in the scope of the "Action plan for 2023-2025 of the State program on development of women entrepreneurship in the Republic Tajikistan for period until 2027" based on the summarizing activities of credit financial institutions in 2024 by four nominations:
44 financial institutions applied to participate in the competition, 23 of which have received awards and honor certificates.
In the nomination "The best credit financial institution in terms of loans issued/Islamic financing to women entrepreneurs", the first place prize was awarded to the State Enterprise of the Republic of Tajikistan "Sanoatsodirotbonk", the second place prize was taken by the State Enterprise of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk", and the third place prize was awarded to the CJSC "Investment and Credit Bank of Tajikistan".
In the nomination "The best credit financial institution in attracting deposits from women entrepreneurs," first place prize was awarded to CJSC "Humo", second place prize to CJSC "Sanduk", and third place prize to LLC MCDO "FINKA".
In the nomination “The best credit financial institution in terms of installation and use of electronic payment instruments (POS-terminal and QR-code) for women entrepreneurs”, the first-place prize was awarded to CJSC “Alif Bank”, the second-place prize was awarded to CJSC “International Bank of Tajikistan”, and the third-place prize was awarded to OJSC “Bank Eskhata”.
And in the nomination “The best credit financial institution in terms of implementation of projects related to supporting women entrepreneurs”, the first-place prize was awarded to CJSC Bank “Arvand”, the second-place prize was awarded to CJSC “Imon International” and the third-place prize was awarded to FKH “Imkoniyat”.
At the same time, the Steering Committee has awarded the Honorary certificates to the OJSC “Orienbank”, OJSC “Dushanbe City Bank”, OJSC “Commercial Bank of Tajikistan”, OJSC “Aktiv Bank” and OJSC “Imon” for their active participation in the competition, and the Certificates of gratitude were awarded to the Tijorat Bank of the IRI Republic in Dushanbe, LLC “OXUS”, OJSC “Spitamen Bank”, OJSC “Tavhidbank”, LLC “Azizi-Finance” and LLC “LOLS Finance” by the NBT. The competition also awarded 6 successful women entrepreneurs with motivating commemorative gifts.
