The National Bank of Tajikistan hosted a three-day training seminar on "Gender Competence for Bankers" from October 9th to 11th, 2024, at the Educational Center in Gulistan.

This initiative aims to advance sustainable development objectives by empowering human capital and promoting gender equality. The program focused on strategies and programs designed to elevate women's standing in society and expand their access to financial services.
Experts from the National Bank of Tajikistan and the International Monetary Fund delivered presentations on key topics such as the significance of gender equality within the financial sector, gender-based statistical indicators, international best practices for enhancing female representation in banking, and the implementation of the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion with a focus on gender considerations. The seminar also explored the relationship between women's access to financial resources, gender equality, and financial stability, drawing upon empirical research findings.

Furthermore, the program emphasized women's leadership development by providing training in essential skills such as communication and negotiation etiquette, emotional intelligence, active listening, and work-life balance.
Upon completion of the seminar, participants received certificate.
