Scientific and Practical Conference at TNU
On October 1 of this year, the Tajik National University hosted a Scientific and Practical Conference entitled "Financial Regulation of Innovative and Industrial Development of the Economy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Conditions of Globalization." The Conference aimed to enhance the knowledge and experience of specialists in finance and banking.
Candidate of Economic Sciences and Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Ikromi, also participated in the event. He delivered a speech to participants on "Macroprudential Regulation of the Banking System of the Republic of Tajikistan," focusing on macroprudential policy, control, assessment, and reduction of system risks to strengthen financial stability and enhance the role of the financial sector in the country's economic development.
It should be noted that the Conference addressed various topics related to the country's financial system, including banking, taxes, and both national and global economies. Well-known and experienced economists from various governmental bodies and state structures exchanged views on raising the population's financial literacy. They also discussed priority areas for innovative development of the agro-industrial complex, sustainable financing tools, issuance of state bonds, the process of developing state budget revenue projections, the role and status of insurance within the country's economy, and other economic issues. This exchange took place through presentations and question-and-answer sessions.
