On September 23 of this year, Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, held a meeting with Dr. Alfred Hannig, Executive Director of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI).
During the meeting, participants discussed the advancements and accomplishments of the financial access policy in the Republic of Tajikistan. Topics covered included collaboration within the organization's programs, the practical application of the country's National Financial Inclusion Strategy, other aspects of financial inclusion, and the support provided by the prestigious financial organization to the National Bank of Tajikistan for hosting Alliance for Financial Inclusion - 2025 working group meetings in the Republic of Tajikistan.
It should be noted that the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) stands as the foremost global authority on financial inclusion policy development and implementation. With over 90 government entities representing more than 80 countries, AFI's mission is to advocate for and support the adoption of inclusive financial policies within its member nations. The National Bank of Tajikistan has been an active participant in this organization since 2011, leveraging its membership to effectively advance financial inclusion initiatives within the country.
