In a virtual meeting on May 24, Sirojiddin Ikromi, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, discussed the "Assets-based Finance - ABF" project with representatives from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Sirojiddin Ikromi, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, highlighted IFC's role in enhancing corporate governance, updating regulatory laws, and advancing digital financial services in the banking sector. The project's impact on improving access to finance for small and medium enterprises was deemed significant in Tajikistan.
The IFC party, in turn, introduced its presentation by offering various models to determine the corresponding model for the introduction of an electronic platform, taking into account the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the conversation, the completed works, existing problems, and the plan to use the Unified State Register of Secured Obligations (unified electronic information database of secured obligations) for the introduction of the National Electronic Platform as part of the ABF project's implementation were discussed.
In conclusion, the parties expressed their opinions regarding the proposed recommendations and considered it acceptable to use the active experiences of Turkey, China and Mexico in this regard.
