Between these inscriptions on the left metal and fineness (Ag 925), and on the right the weight of the coin (31,1) are placed. The colored State Emblem of the Republic of Tajikistan and under it the figures “500 Somoni” and “2014”, that show the denomination and issue year are printed in the centre of the circle.
Reverse: In the left side of outer circle the inscription of “ABDURAHMAN JAMI” in Tajik and in the right side the same inscription in English are imprinted. These two inscriptions are separated by point on the top and by figure “600” with national ornament in the bottom. The image of the Tajik-Persian poet and philosopher of the classical literature – Abdurahman Jami is impressed in the centre of the circle. The figure “1414” on the left and the figure “1492” on the right, that specify the birth and death dates of the poet. The coin edge is serrated.
